Fgx cat tanto knife

Many of the super-lightweight knives in the new Nightshade™ series are detailed replicas of popular existing Cold Steel blades. Some are completely new creations.

The blades are made from griv-ex™, the latest in fiberglass-reinforced plastic. griv-ex™ is even stronger than zy-ex™, the super-hard material used in cold steel’s previous models. each blade is also uv- and heat-stabilized, making it weather-resistant.

These knives are characterized by, among other things, their unique, deeply grooved handles. The handle tangs are directly overmolded with Kray-Ex™. The use of Kray-Ex™ in knife handle design is an innovation by Cold Steel in the early 1980s. This material provides a premium surface that is easy to grip and impervious to heat, cold or moisture. It will never rust, warp, crack or chip, even under the harshest conditions.
