Treat Yourself to a Medieval Brass Lantern with Rawhide Window
Medieval brass lantern with rawhide window
This medium-sized medieval lantern made entirely of brass has an openwork cylindrical body, a conical roof and an inner spout to hold the candle securely. The hinged front door with a rectangular rawhide (parchment) window and the numerous round recesses let the light through, creating a soft and pleasantly warm glow. Thanks to the ring at the top and the handle on the back, the lantern is also suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
This beautiful lamp, both decorative and functional, is not only an ideal accessory for rustic historical events such as medieval markets/camps and reenactments, living history or larp events, but also a fine piece of jewellery for the home or garden.
Details:
- Material: brass, genuine parchment (raw leather)
- Height (without hanging ring): approx. 29 cm
- Maximum circumference: approx. 31 cm
- Inner diameter: approx. 9cm

The above specifications may vary slightly from copy to copy.
Since brass acquires a slight patina over time, we recommend caring for the lantern regularly, for example with ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel and brass products.
