The chain skirt, also called chain apron, was particularly popular in the late Middle Ages because in this period plate armour dominated and only the exposed parts and transitions were protected with ring armour.

Our chain skirts are also ideal as starting material for your own projects.

The frw type braid: This flat ring braid is made up of flat chain rings which are closed by means of wedge rivets (triangular rivets). This type of braid is typical of ring armour from the late Middle Ages in Europe. The braid is 4 in 1. We call this braid frw (English = flat ring w rivets).
