Treat yourself to Falcata, Windlass
Falcata, Windlass
The Celtic-Iberian Romans were rightly famous for their weapons, such as the falcata, one of the most devastating swords ever made! The inward-curving blade delivered a powerful blow, capable of splitting both shield and helmet. This sword is believed to be of Greek or possibly Etruscan origin; it was widespread in southern Russia and also in Spain. In the hands of the Spanish, it was most feared by the Romans.
This Celtic-Iberian falcata sword has a blade made of 1065 carbon steel. The handle is made of solid brass. It comes with a scabbard. The total length is approximately 64.5 cm.
Manufactured by windlass steelcrafts.
This sword is designed as a collector's item or decorative object and is also perfect as an accessory, for example to complete your costume.
