Enjoy Bronze Color Falcata Ibérica
Iberian falcata, bronze, marto
The falcata is a steel sword that originated in the Iberian Peninsula and is therefore associated with the native Iberians before the Roman conquest. It was used by Iberian countries or neighboring ones, such as the Celtiberians, as it was the most common sword in the Iberian Peninsula. Roman chroniclers praised the quality of the iron used in the construction of Spanish weapons; they were surprised by its cutting ability and flexibility, one of the most valued and sought-after characteristics in their manufacture. Curiously, after the first battles on the Iberian Peninsula, Roman troops were ordered to reinforce the edges of their shields with iron, perhaps because of the cutting power of falcatas, which was far superior to that of straight swords and sabers.
