This rapier, constructed in the Pappenheimer style, was inspired by its 17th-century original. It takes its name from the Imperial general of the Thirty Years' War , Gottfried Heinrich zu Pappenheim .

This sword features a narrow, unsharpened blade made of carbon steel, which is incorporated into the intricate, typical handle basket of this rapier. The steel basket is lined with red velvet. The wooden handle is wrapped with wire.

The included sword scabbard is made of leather-wrapped wood and has a steel muzzle and beveled plate.
