Delight yourself with Basket Rapier with Bone Handle.
Paper basket with bone handle
Rapiers with distinctive curved-handled baskets, also called basket springs , have their origins in the 17th century. At that time, rapier fencing was an essential part of men's training and was often used to settle disputes between nobles. Toledo or Solingen blades were often provided with handles by regional blacksmiths. This gave rise to a variety of designs.
This Paul Chen (Hanwei) replica features a high quality carbon steel blade and an attractive solid steel basket handle with solid bone handle. A sturdy leather covered sheath is included.
The rapier strap (item no. 0101050400) is ideal for this rapier.
