Get Cup Bell Rapier
Bell Estoque mug by Paul Chen
This so-called Spanish rapier (also called the bell rapier or cup rapier - English cup-hilt rapier /i) combined style with effectiveness in 17th-century Europe and was long hailed as the pinnacle of rapier design. The bell and pommel of the finest examples were decorated with beautiful openwork designs. In the cup rapier presented here, Hanwei founder Paul Chen replicated these designs down to the last detail and combined them with an elegant tapered carbon steel blade. It owes its name to the French, who called this particular style à la taza .
A leather-covered sheath is included.
