Late 17th century stiletto
The Hanwei stiletto (Paul Chen) is a replica of a late 17th-century original from a private collection. The stiletto was designed exclusively as a stabbing weapon and was widely used at a time when upper-class civilian clothing often included chain mail or leather armor.
This beautiful piece features a blade approximately 27 cm long with a triangular cross-section. The spiral pinecone-shaped pommel and crossguard ends complement the buffalo horn handle. A leather-wrapped sheath with silver-plated hardware is included.
