Late 17th century stiletto

The Hanwei (Paul Chen) stiletto is a replica of a late 17th-century original from a private collection. The stiletto was designed exclusively as a stabbing weapon and was widely worn at a time when upper-class civilian clothing often included chain mail or leather armour.

This beautiful piece features a blade approximately 27cm long with a triangular cross section. The pommel and spiral pine cone-shaped crossguard ends complement the buffalo horn handle. A leather-lined sheath with silver-plated hardware is included.
