Late Roman Spatha
From about the 3rd century onwards, the Romans adapted the long, double-edged cutting swords, the so-called spatha, which were originally only used by the Germanic people.
Our replica is a reconstruction of a spathe from the 4th century AD.
The handle of the sword is carved from animal bone. The blade has two grooves on both sides. Includes a scabbard with genuine brass applications.
