Delight yourself with Germanic Combat Sword, Sk-b
Germanic people display battle swords from the migration period
Spathae have been known since Roman times and were later adapted and developed by Germanic tribes. They are cutting swords with wide, straight, double-edged blades that are held in one hand.
This is a reconstruction of the spathes as they were widely used in the Germanic settlement area between the 1st and 6th centuries. The blade is forged from high-quality spring steel and tempered to approx. 48 HRC. It has a pronounced groove, which gives the sword great elasticity and at the same time lightness. The edge is unsharpened. The pommel and crossguard are made of riveted brass plates enclosing a horn disc on the inside. The handle is made of wood, brass and horn.
Delivery includes a matching wooden sword scabbard. It is covered with leather and has brass position and muzzle plates.
