Delight in the Germanic Combat Sword SK-B

Discover the essence of Germanic warriors with this impressive sword, inspired by the weapons of the Migration Period, between the 1st and 6th centuries. Spathae originated in the Roman era and were adopted and perfected by the Germanic tribes, becoming a symbol of power and combat prowess . Its wide, straight, double-edged blade was ideal for one-handed combat and continues to evoke the ferocity of those times today.

This faithful reconstruction features a hand-forged blade from high-quality EN45 spring steel, tempered to a hardness of approximately 48 HRC. Its central groove gives it elasticity and lightness without compromising strength. Although unsharpened, its 2 mm striking edge makes it perfect for display or controlled reenactment. The pommel and guard are crafted from riveted brass plates enclosing a horn disc, and the handle, a stylish combination of wood, brass, and horn, offers a firm, authentic grip.

The sword includes a leather-wrapped wooden scabbard, with brass mouthpieces and reinforcements that complete its imposing presence.
