Chinese butterfly swords (also called butterfly knives ) are absolutely iconic and incredibly popular with collectors and martial artists alike. Normally these short swords are always used in pairs, but are carried, cleverly disguised, stacked on top of each other to give the appearance of a single sword in its sheath. Only when pulled can they be separated in an instant and placed in either hand!



In Cold Steel®’s interpretation of these classic weapons, the blades measure approximately 38 cm long and 6.7 cm wide. The pronounced D-shaped cups end with a forward-curving crossguard. This means that enemy weapons can be better repelled or captured. The beautiful wooden handles ensure a secure and comfortable grip.
