Treat yourself to the Suontaka Viking Sword, Windlass
Viking sword suontaka, windlass
The original Suontaka sword was found in a woman’s grave in Finland. The grave dates to around 1100 AD, but the shape of the sword suggests an earlier date, possibly the mid-10th century. This impressive version of the sword features highly detailed knotwork on the pommel, crossguard, grip strap and inlays. All were elaborately copper plated. The sturdy blade made from 1085 carbon steel has a full-length tang, is fully tempered and anchored at the pommel.
Includes matching leather sheath with copper appliqués.
Manufactured by windlass steelcrafts.
This sword is designed as a collector's item or decorative object and is also ideal as an accessory, for example to complete your costume.
