Give yourself Suontaka Viking Sword, Windlass
Viking suontaka sword, Windlass
The original suontaka sword was found in a woman's grave in Finland. The grave dates to around 1100 AD, but the sword's shape suggests an earlier date, possibly the mid-10th century. This stunning version of the sword features highly detailed knotwork on the pommel, crossguard, grip strap, and inlays. Everything was elaborately covered in copper. The sturdy blade, made of 1085 carbon steel, has a full-length tang, is fully tempered, and is anchored in the pommel.
Includes matching leather case with copper applications.
Manufactured by windlass steelcrafts.
This sword is designed as a collector's item or decorative object and is also ideal as an accessory, for example to complete your costume.
