Stiklestad Viking sword, Windlass
The Battle of Stiklestad was Saint Olaf's last stand. It was old-school warfare, with two armies facing each other, sword to sword. It was a brutal, bloody, and deadly battle, at the end of which the mighty Olaf fell. He gained great fame for his heroic deeds and was eventually canonized as Saint Olaf.
This beautiful Viking sword is modeled after a specimen that served in that conflict. Made of high-carbon steel, the sword is well balanced, and the pommel and crossguard are decorated with copper. The wooden handle is covered in suede.
Includes matching wooden case with suede cover.
Manufactured by windlass steelcrafts.
This sword is designed as a collector's item or decorative object and is also ideal as an accessory, for example to complete your costume.
