Viking sword (Copenhagen National Museum) with scabbard, 10th century, sk-b combat sword



Inspired by a 10th century sword housed in the Danish National Museum in Copenhagen, this sword has a blunt carbon steel blade. The blade itself is broad and has a wide groove, which significantly reduces its weight and still allows the sword to show its strength. The short guard and pommel are made of steel. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap. The sword's scabbard is made of leather-wrapped wood and has a beveled metal plate and a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm).



This sword is perfect for reenactment.
