DETAILS

The Viking sword is a status weapon wielded by free men and warriors proud of their skill and valor. The 60 cm short sword has a 50 cm blade designed to be lightweight while maintaining its structural stability. The detailed handle is 10 cm long, cast and painted to resemble realistic leather wrapped around a carved hilt and pommel.

Whether you're a Viking or Celtic warrior, this Viking sword is our highest-quality piece of equipment due to its impressive durability and detail. The blade is made of closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is made of polyurethane foam, allowing for greater detail and zero maintenance. HISTORY

• Originally a Frankish design
• Most swords of this design found in Scandinavia were imported or looted from the Frankish Empire.
• A fuller groove, or the groove that runs the entire length of the blade, was added to the weapons to lighten the blade and add structure and strength.
