Viking sword Hurum, normal version
Based on the design of classic Viking swords, the Hurum Viking sword features a wide blade made of EN45 spring steel and a pronounced fuller edge, giving the sword great elasticity yet a light weight. The cutting edges are not sharp and the tip is rounded. The short guard and pommel are made of steel. The pommel is firmly riveted to the tang of the blade.
The sword handle is wrapped with leather cord. The sword comes with a very attractive wooden leather scabbard with a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm). The scabbard has a steel plate.
This is the standard version of this Viking sword. The same sword is also available in a version suitable for stage combat, with a thick, blunt blade and a rounded tip: item 0180001806.
