Viking sword from hedmark, sk-b fighting show


This sword is inspired by the Norwegian Hedmark sword, which dates back to the late 9th century. The original is kept in the Oslo Historical Museum.



This replica has an unsharpened double-edged blade with a wider handle. The guard and the wide pommel, common for this type of sword, are made of steel. The pommel is riveted. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap.



The included sword scabbard is made of leather-wrapped wood and has a steel hood and a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts up to 5 cm wide).



This is the battle ready version of this Viking sword.
