Replica of a one-handed sword from the late Viking Age, early 11th century, suitable for show combat.
This sword is exclusively handmade. The elaborately designed crossguard and pommel are made of forged and heat-treated cast iron. The blade runs continuously to the pommel, where it is hand-riveted. The handle is covered with leather. The blade is forged from high-quality spring steel and tempered to approximately 48 HRC. It has a pronounced groove, giving the sword great elasticity yet lightness. The tip of the blade and the cutting edges are blunt and rounded.
The sword comes with a very nice wooden leather scabbard with two buckles attached to straps. You can, for example, attach straps to hold your own sword.
