Replica of a late Viking Age one-handed sword from the early 11th century suitable for show combat.



This sword is exclusively handmade. The intricately designed crossguard and pommel are made of forged and heat-treated cast iron. The blade is continuous all the way to the pommel, where it is hand-riveted. The handle is covered with leather. The blade is forged from high-quality spring steel and tempered to approx. 48 HRC. It has a pronounced groove, which gives the sword great elasticity and at the same time lightness. The tip of the blade and the cutting edges are blunt and rounded.



The sword comes with a very nice wooden leather sheath with two buckles attached to straps. You can, for example, fasten straps to hold your own sword.
