A beautiful reconstruction of a 10th-century Viking sword, based on finds from England. As early as the 8th century, isolated Vikings roamed the British coasts in search of quick prey. However, starting in the 9th century, this tactic changed, and Scandinavians began to settle and establish themselves in England.
This sword was created entirely by hand. The guard and the typical five-rib pommel are made of steel.
The blade extends to the pommel and is hand-riveted there. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap.
The blade is forged from high-quality spring steel and tempered to approximately 48 HRC. It has a pronounced hollow groove,
Which gives the sword great elasticity and lightness at the same time. The tip of the blade and the cutting edges are blunt and
Rounded. The sword comes with a very attractive wooden leather scabbard with a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm).
The scabbard has a richly decorated brass chapel.
