This Viking sword, which has the typical appearance of a type D Viking sword (according to Jan Petersen's classification of the Norsk Vikingesverd from 1919), is a replica of a find from the Scottish island of Eigg.



This Viking sword has a blunt, double-edged Damascus steel with a wider blade. The finely crafted handle, guard element and pommel are made of bronze, cast in the typical shape of this sword.



The scabbard is made of wood covered in leather. The mouthpiece and plate, as well as the holder, which serves as a belt loop, are also made of bronze and richly decorated.
