Give Ashdown Viking Sword, Windlass
Ashdown Viking sword, Windlass
In 871 AD, the young Prince Alfred, later known as Alfred the Great, valiantly led the army of King Ethelred of Wessex to a glorious victory over a large Danish invasion force. This sword represents the primary weapon used in this decisive battle. The armorers at Windlass Steelcrafts forged this sword from carbon steel. The extra-wide kerf makes for a lighter blade. The crossguard is elaborately decorated with raised knotwork. The crossguard and pommel are steel and have been blackened with a forged finish. The wooden handle is covered in soft, tanned leather.
Includes matching leather sheath with belt.
Manufactured by windlass steelcrafts.
This sword is designed as a collector's item or decorative object and is also ideal as an accessory, for example to complete your costume.
