Note: This basket-hilted sword is a replica of an original sword from the British Royal Armouries collection, dated circa 1760. The blade of the original sword was most likely made in Germany a century earlier and then fitted with a more modern basket-hilt handle. This Scottish sword features an unusual basket-hilt with an engraved horned beast and a blade with two fulling mills running almost the entire length of the tip.

This replica features an easy-care stainless steel basket and carbon steel blade. The handle is made of genuine stingray skin with wire wrapping and the bowl is lined with fabric-coated leather.
