Norman tinker sword with combat blade



This Norman Tinker Sword is available with both sharp and dull blades. Featuring a distinctive cross-guard and Brazil nut pommel, both versions are similar in weight and balance. Handling is also nearly identical. Both are harmoniously balanced. The blunt version offered here optimises the re-enactor's handling.

The blade is forged from 5160 carbon steel and marquenched to a Rockwell hardness of 50 - 52 HRC. This prevents burrs from forming. The handle consists of a wooden core wrapped with cord and covered with leather.
