Norman Tinker Sword with Combat Blade

This Norman tinker sword is available with sharpened and blunt blades. With a distinctive crossguard and Brazil nut pommel, both versions are similar in weight and balance. Handling is also almost identical. Both are harmoniously balanced. The blunt version offered here optimizes the reenactor's handling.

The blade was forged from 5160 carbon steel and heat-hardened (marquenching) to a Rockwell hardness of 50–52 HRC. This prevents burr formation. The handle consists of a wooden core wrapped with cord and covered with leather.
