Red Dragon Hema XT One-Handed Sword, Plastic Blade

Red Dragon Hema one-handed plastic blades are made from our own special plastic blend to create a strong, flexible fighting blade. They are designed to curve toward the tip along the last third of their length, allowing for a much more confident strike than traditional wooden blades or shinai. The connection between the blade and the tang (traditionally a weak point) is reinforced by a high-tensile steel rod that runs the full length of the handle. This also eliminates the flex in the handle that often occurs with plastic training swords. The edges are smooth to prevent friction burns, but can be scuffed with sandpaper to improve grip.
