This Norman Tinker sword is available with sharp and dull blades. With a characteristic cross-guard and Brazil nut pommel, both versions are similar in weight and balance. Handling is also almost identical. Both are harmoniously balanced. With the sharp version offered here, cutting ability is optimized.



The blade is forged from 5160 carbon steel and hardened by hot bath (marquenching) to a rockwell hardness of 50 - 52 hrc. This allows for increased edge strength. The handle consists of a wooden core wrapped with cord and covered with leather. The blunt version of the sword is available under the item number hn-sh2427.
