German medieval one-handed sword, for light combat, Category C
This late medieval one-handed sword was inspired by Hans Talhoffer, a famous German swordsman and fencing master.
From the 15th century.
The hollow, unsharpened milling blade (or midrib blade) is made of hardened and heat-treated EN45 carbon steel.
It has a rounded tip and thick, blunt cutting edges. The crossguard and pommel are made of steel, and the handle is made of wood.
Wrapped in leather. The blade runs continuously to the pommel and is riveted there. The scope of delivery includes a wooden scabbard with a leather sheath. On one side, the scabbard opening is engraved in the leather.
