This one and a half hand sword is a decorative interpretation of the Mastersword , from the Legend of Zelda series of games by the Japanese video game and console manufacturer Nintendo .

The sword, approximately 110 cm long, has a 77.5 cm long blade made of 420HC stainless steel. Its handle is covered in blue and green synthetic leather. The guard and pommel are made of gold anodized aluminum. The scabbard is made of wood, covered in synthetic leather and has a mouth plate and a plate for placing.

The iconic sword has its origins in the video game series about the hero Link . There, it is known as a divine magical sword that can only be wielded by the chosen hero. Link uses the sacred weapon to defeat Ganon and other forces of evil.
