The long blades of the Red Dragon Sword are made from a special plastic blend. The top third of these strong, flexible training blades is designed to bend toward the tip, allowing for a more secure stab than, for example, wooden swords. The connection between the blade and the tang is reinforced by a high-strength steel rod, which also ensures that the handle won't bend like other plastic training swords.
