Treat yourself to a Longsword (Zurich State Museum), Combat Sword, Category B

Late medieval longsword with scabbard, 15th century, Zurich State Museum, Switzerland
Suitable for combat use, Category-B

This beautiful two-handed sword is a replica of a late medieval longsword from around 1450-1460, which is classified as type XVA according to the Oakeshott typology and can be admired in the Landesmuseum Zurich.
This replica has a hardened spring steel blade tempered to approximately 48 HRC, which tapers toward the tip and has a diamond-shaped cross-section. It is forged to the pommel and riveted there to the end of the handle. The crossguard is made of steel, and the leather-wrapped wooden handle ends in a generous fishtail pommel.
The sword's beautiful scabbard is made of vegetable-tanned leather. A carrying strap with brass buckles is included in the scope of delivery.
With its 2mm thick blunt edges and rounded tip, this longsword is perfect for reenactments, combat, or sparring.
