This battle-ready replica of a late medieval two-handed sword is exclusively handmade. The straight guard and pommel are made of forged and heat-treated cast iron. The spring steel blade, oil-hardened to approximately 48–50 HRC, extends to the pommel and is screwed on. The handle is wrapped with a leather and wire thong. The blade has a pronounced groove, giving the sword great elasticity yet lightness. The blade tip and cutting edges are blunt and rounded.
The sword comes with a leather covered wooden scabbard that has a single muzzle and mounting plates.
This is the battle-ready version of this two-handed sword. The same sword is also available in a standard version: art. no. 0116341418.
