Enjoy this Italian One and a Half Handed Sword with Sheath, Suitable for Combat Shows, Category B

Italian one-and-a-half-handed sword for exhibition combat, Category-B
This sword is a replica of a 15th-century Italian sword. The original is now in the Museo Civico L. Mazzoli in Brescia, Italy.
Already in the Late Middle Ages, sword production was divided in terms of workmanship, as the blade came from a well-known Passau smithy in southern Germany and was assembled in northern Italy using the handle pieces typical of the Italian fashion . Typologically, the sword can be classified as an Oakeshott type XVIII or possibly a type XVI.
This battle-ready reconstruction is entirely handmade. The slightly forward-curved crossguard and octagonal pommel are made of forged and heat-treated cast iron. The spring steel blade, oil-tempered to approximately 48–50 HRC, extends to the pommel and is screwed on. The handle is leather-wrapped. The blade has a pronounced groove that measures a good third of the blade's length and gives the sword greater elasticity yet lightness. The blade tip and cutting edges are blunt and rounded. The sword comes with a beautiful leather-covered wooden scabbard.
This is the battle-ready version of this one-and-a-half-handed sword. The same sword is also available in a standard version: item no. 0116341918.
