Replica of a Greek hoplite sword found in the Campovalano necropolis, Italy. It dates from the 6th century BC.
The unsharpened blade is made of steel and has a typical central ridge on each side. The handle is made of steel and bone plates.
The sword has a leather-covered wooden scabbard with a brass muzzle and beveled plates.
