If king arthur did really exist, many historians view him as a warrior leader who attempted to stop the invasion of the saxons following the fall of rome. there is evidence to suggest that after a period of great unrest, england experienced a brief period of peace and prosperity, now known as the middle ages. this sword is of a type that was common during this time and that a hardened warrior would prefer. well balanced, hardened carbon steel blade, offset with antiqued brass hardware.
