Enjoy the Guinegate Sword of Emperor Maximilian I, with Sheath
Late medieval Guinegate sword
Beautiful replica of the famous sword that Emperor Maximilian I is said to have carried at the Battle of Guinegate in 1513.
Because the French cavalry left the battlefield in a disorderly and hasty manner, this battle is also known as the Battle of the Spurs .
Our replica has a beautiful bone handle. The handle rings, the disc pommel, and the distinctive forward-curved guard are made of solid brass. The sword comes with a leather scabbard with a mouth and mounting plates also made of brass.
