The Epic Armoury 85cm Draug Sword is a medium latex LARP sword inspired by high fantasy villains and undead creatures. The sword is 85cm long and has a 59cm double-edged straight blade with two fullers. The 19cm wide crossguard is hand-painted and textured to look like worn and chipped steel, adorned with a skeleton face cast in polyurethane foam. The matching pommel is shaped like a common "scent-plug" often seen during the Middle Ages. Like a real sword, the hilt also features a fluted, ergonomic shape and is wrapped in a layer of dark leather.
Whether you're a necromancer or a dead man brought to life, this sword offers incredible quality due to its durability and detail. The blade is made of EVA foam wrapped around a solid 10mm fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is made of low-maintenance polyurethane foam. This next-generation sword model is designed to last much longer than a typical latex LARP weapon, all without sacrificing the aesthetics you deserve.

Maintenance
The polyurethane handle of this hybrid weapon requires no special maintenance. The leather wrapped around the grip requires care.
Leather Grip Care
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay supple and extend their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it frequently gets wet and dries, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
Latex Sheet Care
The blade of this LARP weapon has a latex coating that requires some maintenance. For this purpose, we recommend using Maintenance Silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armory Maintenance Silicone is an easy-to-use spray that is 100% pure and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone regularly, taking care not to spray the handle by first wrapping it in cling film. This maintains the flexibility of the latex layer and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product resistant to wear and tear.
Storage
Store your gun horizontally or on its pommel, NEVER on its tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface and prevent your gun from sticking to other materials. Keep your gun in a cool, dry environment.
