One and a half hand sword, combat sword, Category-B
The design of this particularly light and well-balanced sword is inspired by the sword of Albert II of Austria. In terms of shape and style, it is a typical medieval one-and-a-half-handed sword. The original dates from the early 15th century. The sword was developed by the renowned swordsmith Paul Chen (Hanwei).
The hardened carbon steel blade is forged to the pommel and riveted to the end of the handle. The wooden handle is wrapped in leather. The guard and pommel are made of steel. The tip is slightly rounded.
It includes a fiberglass-reinforced plastic sheath for added impact protection. The scabbard was decorated with metal fittings and had two leather straps for fastening.
