Movie sword - Bride's katana
This sword is based on Beatrix Kiddo 's sword (also known as Black Mamba or The Bride ) from the classic movie Kill Bill.
During the course of the film, Beatrix convinces the legendary retired swordsmith Hattori Hanzo to forge a sword for her. Hanzo agrees and spends a month working on what is arguably his finest sword. After he gave up this child, she left for Tokyo to begin her campaign of revenge.
The katana offered here has a 1045 carbon steel blade, approximately 72.5 cm long, on which a hamon line is sharpened in the shinogi-zukuri style. The blade also features an image of a lion. The handle wrap, wrapped with ray skin, is made of black synthetic leather in the classic hineri maki style. The saya is finished in a high-gloss (kuroro style), has two inlaid decorations, and a gold-colored sageo.
The sword comes with a stand, a sword sheath, a collector's box, and a care kit.
This katana is designed as a collector's item or decorative object.
