It would be a difficult undertaking to try to find a more versatile or powerful sword than this hand-and-a-half sword (also called a bastard sword ) offered here. For a sword of this size, it is surprisingly light (just under 1.4 kg) and swift.
Its 85 cm long blade is quite wide and can therefore cut deeply, yet remains sharp enough to perform effective thrusting attacks. Thanks to its long hilt, the sword can be wielded with one or two hands. The handle is made of wood and covered in black leather. To balance the long blade, the end of the handle is fitted with a handsome heel pommel , which can serve as a striking weapon in itself.
