Willow Leaf Sword



This is the classic Chinese sabre that was used not only by the military but also by civilians from ancient times until the 1940s. With the broad, heavy blade, the thickness that tapers from the base to the tip (the so-called distal taper ) ensures a good balance. It is also perfectly shaped to cut, slash and carve equally well. The long, cord-wrapped handle with traditional brass pommel and guard makes the sword easy to handle. A sturdy leather sheath is included in the delivery.

1055 carbon steel

The carbon content and relatively low levels of other materials in this steel make it a very stable material, free of the brittleness inherent in most high carbon steels. This steel is ideal for blades that need to have a high impact resistance and is therefore often used for large fixed knives, machetes and swords.
