Practical basket sword - back sword



The Hanwei Practical Backsword Basket Sword has been developed especially for reenactors. The baskets of these swords are fitted in the same way as those of the models with a sharpened blade, but here the blade remains unsharpened. With 1/4" safety edges and rounded tips, they meet the rules of most reenactment associations. The blade was forged from 1065 carbon steel and hardened to approx. 50 HRC. The scabbard was kept matte black and can be further treated according to individual wishes.
