Practical basket sword - back sword
The Hanwei Practical Backsword basket sword was developed especially for reenactors. The baskets of these swords are equipped in the same way as those of the sharpened models, but the blade remains unsharpened. With 1/4" safety edges and rounded tips, they comply with the rules of most reenactment associations. The blade was forged from 1065 carbon steel and hardened to approximately 50 HRC. The scabbard has been kept in matte black and can be further processed according to individual requirements.
