Treat yourself to a Saint Annen Knight's Sword with Scabbard, 12th Century.

Knight's sword from Sankt Annen with scabbard, 12th century

The model of the one-handed sword offered here is an original piece from the 12th century which is now part of the collection of the St. Annen Museum in Lübeck.

This one-handed, double-edged knightly sword, classified as an Oakeshott Type XII, has the typical features of early medieval swords. It has a broad, evenly tapered EN45 spring steel blade that is grooved for approximately two-thirds of its length. The cutting edges are unsharpened and the continuous tang of the blade is riveted to the pommel. The handle consists of a steel crossguard, a leather-covered, wooden-cored grip and a bronze disc pommel, surmounted by a steel rivet block.

This decorative and inexpensive one-handed sword comes with a light brown wooden/leather scabbard that matches the color of the handle.

This medieval sword is designed as a collector's item or decorative object. It is also ideal as an accessory, for example to complete your costume, and will make your transformation into a noble knight simply perfect.
