Enjoy a Knight's Sword from Lübeck with Scabbard, 13th Century.
Lübeck knight's sword with scabbard, 13th century
This one-handed double-edged sword, bearing the typical features of crusader swords in the early middle ages, is a reconstruction of a 13th-century find classified as oakeshott type xii (st. annen museum, lübeck). although the original archaeological piece was badly corroded when it was recovered, detailed examination revealed the high level of craftsmanship required to produce it. a special feature here is its impressive length, something quite unusual for one-handed swords of the type xii.
Our decorative and inexpensive replica of this knightly sword has a broad, evenly tapered en45 spring steel blade that is more fully shaped along approximately two-thirds of its length. The cutting edges are not sharpened and the continuous tang of the blade is riveted to the pommel. The handle consists of a steel crossguard, a reddish-brown leather-wrapped, wood-core grip and a bronze disc pommel, topped with a steel rivet block.
The one-handed medieval sword comes with a reddish-brown wooden/leather scabbard that matches the color of the handle wrap.
This medieval sword is designed as a collector's item or decorative object. It is also ideal as an accessory, for example to complete your costume, and will make your transformation into a noble knight simply perfect.
