High medieval knight's sword with scabbard, suitable for combat show, sk-c



Replica of a high medieval one-handed knightly sword, suitable for show combat. The special thing about this sword is the pommel, which is a variation of the Brazil nut pommel and which Oakshott dates back to the 13th century.



This sword is exclusively handmade. The forward-curved crossguard and the Brazil nut pommel are made of forged and heat-treated cast iron. The spring steel blade, oil-hardened to approx. 48 HRC, reaches all the way to the pommel and is hand-riveted there. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap. The blade has a pronounced groove, which gives the sword great elasticity and at the same time lightness. The tip of the blade and the cutting edges are blunt and rounded.



The sword is delivered with a very nice wooden leather scabbard with a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm). The scabbard also has a steel plate.
