High medieval knight's sword with scabbard, suitable for combat display, Category C
Replica of a high medieval one-handed knightly sword, suitable for stage combat. The special feature of this sword is the pommel, a variation of the Brazil nut pommel, which Oakshott dates to the 13th century.

This sword is exclusively handmade. The forward-curved crossguard and Brazil nut pommel are made of forged and heat-treated cast iron. The spring steel blade, oil-hardened to approximately 48 HRC, extends to the pommel and is hand-riveted there. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap. The blade has a pronounced groove, giving the sword great elasticity yet lightness. The blade tip and cutting edges are blunt and rounded.
The sword comes with a very handsome leather sheath with a wooden holder serving as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm). The sheath also has a steel plate.
