High medieval knight's sword with scabbard



Replica of a one-handed knightly sword from the early Middle Ages. What is special about this sword is the pommel, which is a variation of the Brazil nut pommel and which Oakeshott dates back to the 13th century.



This sword is exclusively hand-made. The forward-curved crossguard and the Brazil nut pommel are made of cast iron. The spring steel blade reaches all the way to the pommel and is hand-riveted there. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap. The blade has a pronounced groove, which gives the sword great elasticity and at the same time lightness. The blade edge is not sharpened.



The sword is delivered with a very nice wooden leather scabbard with a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm). The scabbard also has a steel plate.
