Discover Crusader Sword with Pommel and Scabbard, Normal Version
Sword with cross-disc pommel and scabbard
Replica of a high medieval one-handed sword with the typical disc pommel. This type of sword was already used by the Normans and was soon used in the Crusades to liberate the Holy Land.
This sword is handmade. The crossguard and pommel are made of iron. The blade is continuous to the pommel, where it is hand-riveted. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap. The blade has a pronounced groove, giving the sword great elasticity yet lightness. The blade's edge is unsharpened.
The sword is delivered with a very nice and authentic-looking wooden leather sheath with a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm).
This is the standard version of the Crusader discus pommel sword. The same sword is also available in a combat-ready version with a blunt blade and rounded tip: art. 0116695106.
