Discover Crusader Sword With Pommel And Scabbard, Normal Version
Sword with crossed disc pommel and scabbard
Replica of a one-handed early medieval sword with the typical disc pommel. This type of sword was already used by the Normans and was soon used in the Crusades to liberate the Holy Land.
This sword is handmade. The crossguard and the pommel are made of iron. The blade is continuous to the pommel, where it is hand-riveted. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap. The blade has a pronounced groove, which gives the sword great elasticity and at the same time lightness. The edge of the blade is not sharpened.
The sword is delivered with a very nice and authentic looking wooden leather scabbard with a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts of max. 5 cm width).
This is the standard version of the crusader disc-pommel sword. The same sword is also available in a combat-ready version with a blunt blade and rounded tip: art. 0116695106.
