Crusader sword with scabbard, octagonal pommel, 13th century, combat sword sk-c



Battle-ready replica of a medieval one-handed sword used, among others, by crusaders of various orders during the crusades. The octagonal pommel makes this sword stand out from more common swords with a round disc pommel.



This sword is exclusively hand-made. The elegant crossguard and octagonal pommel are made of forged and heat-treated cast iron. The spring steel blade, oil-hardened to approx. 48-50 HRC, reaches all the way to the pommel and is hand-riveted there. The handle has a leather strap.
Wrapped. The blade has a pronounced groove, which gives the sword great elasticity and at the same time lightness. The blade edge is not sharpened. The sword is delivered with a very nice wooden leather scabbard with a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm). The scabbard also has a steel plate.
