Enjoy Crusader Sword with Octagonal Pommel, 13th Century, Spectacular Fighting, Category-C
Crossed sword with scabbard, octagonal pommel, 13th century, Category-C combat sword
Battle-ready replica of a medieval one-handed sword used by Crusaders of various orders during the Crusades, among others. The octagonal pommel makes this sword stand out from more common swords with a round disc pommel.
This sword is exclusively handmade. The elegant crossguard and octagonal pommel are made of forged and heat-treated cast iron. The spring steel blade, oil-hardened to approximately 48-50 HRC, extends to the pommel and is hand-riveted there. The handle has a leather strap.
Wrapped. The blade has a pronounced groove, giving the sword great elasticity yet lightness. The blade's edge is unsharpened. The sword comes with a very attractive leather sheath with a wooden holder serving as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm). The sheath also has a steel plate.
This is the battle-ready version of the crossbow with an octagonal pommel. The same sword is also available in a standard version: item no. 0116695518.
