Get Crusader Sword with Octagonal Pommel, 13th Century.
Crossed sword with scabbard, octagonal pommel, 13th century
Replica of a medieval one-handed sword used by crusaders of various orders during the Crusades. The octagonal pommel makes this sword stand out from more common swords with rounded discs.
This sword is exclusively handmade. The elegant crossguard and octagonal pommel are made of iron. The hardened spring steel blade extends to the pommel and is hand-riveted there. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap. The blade has a pronounced groove, giving the sword great elasticity yet lightness. The blade edge is unsharpened.
The sword comes with a very handsome leather sheath with a wooden holder serving as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm). The sheath also has a steel plate.
This is the standard version of the crossbow with an octagonal pommel. The same sword is also available in a combat-ready version with a blunt blade and rounded tip: art. 0116695506.
