Cross-disc pommel sword with scabbard, combat sword, Category-B
Replica of a high medieval one-handed sword with the typical disc pommel. This type of sword was already used by the Normans and was soon used in the Crusades to liberate the Holy Land.
This sword is handmade. The guard and pommel are made of forged, heat-treated cast iron. The blade is continuous all the way to the pommel, where it is hand-riveted. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap. The blade has a pronounced groove, giving the sword great elasticity yet lightness. The blade's edge is unsharpened.
The sword is delivered with a very nice and authentic-looking wooden leather sheath with a wooden holder as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm).
This is the battle-ready version of the Crusader disc-pommel sword. The same sword is also available in a standard version: item no. 0116695118.
