The Sinbad Scimitar Sword has a 1075 carbon steel blade that has been heat treated and hardened to a rockwell hardness of approximately 56-58. The cutting edge is hand sharpened and ground to a razor sharpness. The shot-peened satin finish is achieved by sandblasting or glass beads. The handle is made of durable hardwood. A high quality, durable, hand-made leather sheath is included.
